What is the Mayo Arts Festival?

The Mayo Arts Festival is a free one-day multi-arts celebration showcasing Brisbane artists and artisans and student exhibitions and performances in art, dance, drama and music.

The festival is named in honour of 168¿ª½±¹ÙÍø’s Old Girl Daphne Mayo MBE (1908), who was a leading Australian female artist most prominently known for the sculptured tympanum above the entrance to Brisbane City Hall. The festival celebrates artistic endeavour in all its forms with a particular focus on three-dimensional art.

The festival features rides, activities, food trucks, a bar, market stalls and performances.

Download the program and map (PDF 1.2MB) to plan your day out.
