Training on fire extinguisher basics and their effectiveness on LNG/NG fires. Demonstrating the use of hose lines to control vapors and the negative impact it has when attempting to extinguish LNG fires. Partcipants in full PPE will execute extinguishing LNG fires on multiple props. Additional topics of discussion are: wind and the angle of attack, the hazards of using water on LNG, the importance of a proper scene assessment, the properties of a cryogenic liquid, and how to treat an LNG exposure to skin.
